Below are some questions to consider when thinking about buying real estate
1. Are you currently working with a realtor?
2. Is this your first time buying a property if not where do you currently live?
3. Are you pre-approved and if so for how much? (if so skip to question #9)
4. How is your credit score?
5. Did you ever claim for bankruptcy?
6. Are you currently employed, if so how much do you and your partner make/ if more than 1 name on the home title.
7. What is your budget?
8. Do you have enough for 20% down payment, if not CMHC fees will apply?
9. Do you have any children, if so what are their age (for schools, and amenity purposes)?
10. What part of London are you most interested in buying?
11. What type of residence are you looking for (freehold single detached, semi, condominium, apartment, or townhouse) ?
12. Minimum bedrooms?
13. Minimum bathrooms?
14. Garage & parking space?
15. Minimum square footage (excluding below ground/basements)?
16. Interior features that are a must?
17. Exterior features that are a must?
18. Is there any schools or certain location that you need to be near?
19. Any preference on Back yard and pool?
